Fever meets the people behind the world’s most famous flower market; Columbia Road

We live in a busy world, and London is forever changing, yet tucked away on a secluded residential East London street you’ll find Columbia Road Flower Market – still going strong almost 150 years later. Sure it’s changed in its time, but the addition of independent coffee places, artist workshops and antique shops just make it even better. If you haven’t been it’s a great Sunday spot, and looking around you notice pretty quickly it really represents everything amazing about… Read more…

Two Bois Head off to Save Hyrule

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past 6 months, you’ll know that escape rooms and experiential activities are all the rage. On a Crystal Maze induced comedown two of Fever’s self-entitled “bois” were keen to score their next fix. It just so happens that a new escape game has launched, following from the popularity of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Real Escape Game’s Defenders of the Triforce is here to throw brave adventurers into the land of… Read more…

Xperia Touch Launch Event – The Future is Here

This week the Fever team showcased the Xperia Touch, the kind of product that makes you think ‘woah, I really am living in the future’. The Touch isn’t just a standard projector, as it turns any flat surface into a 23inch interactive screen with the power of a full-on Android tablet, including 10 touch-point technology (for those non tech-heads it means you can use all your fingers and thumbs). Basically Minority Report without the weird gloves. The touch also works… Read more…

When you think WipEout you think two things; insane speeds and music to match them. This week we launched Aptaclub’s ‘Active For 2’ campaign – a free, online resource for pregnant mums to find out how to safely keep fit through the three trimesters of pregnancy. The campaign also aims to bust the myth that exercising is dangerous, with new research showing that over 25% of pregnant women are drastically cutting down or giving up entirely due to safety fears. We were assisted with the campaign by some fantastic ambassadors – the trusty Dr Dawn… Read more…

With Sony’s flagship XZ Premium launching next month, the Fever team jetted off to the sunny coast of Portugal (beats a conference room in the rainy UK) to showcase one of the key unique features, super slow motion video capture at 960 frames per second, four times slower than any other smartphone (we’re so on message). We took over 10 journalists and influencers, including the likes of TechRadar, Evening Standard and TechFlow, to film the world’s first crowdsourced super slow… Read more…

Entering the Crystal Maze

Anybody who thought cult ’90s gameshow ‘The Crystal Maze’ had been neglected in that weird VHS bin found in every Oxfam ever, only now discoverable by those who spend their precious lives watching too much Challenge TV, needs to know better. To kick off FY18, we headed to the rebuild of the whole show, dome and all, in an old office building in Zone One… The whole agency, in teams of eight, dashed through the zones taking it in turns… Read more…

Launching the UE WONDERBOOM

Forget the wonderbra, right now we’re all about the WONDERBOOM. This little speaker from Ultimate Ears packs some serious punch and deserved its own party, which is exactly what it got. A whole host of media and influencers were invited along to Lights of Soho (the most lit venue ever) last week to experience first-hand the fantastic features of the new speaker – including being waterproof and virtually indestructible (a feature, not a challenge). Guests were invited to take part… Read more…

Claudia Winkleman, Mother Pukka and Scummy Mummies CONFESS ALL

Parents never lie, right? Wrooong. We’ve all heard the web of little white lies mums have spewed to us. Research we did with NOW TV told us the most common white lies are: accidentally losing an annoying toy (55% to be exact), pretending that the TV or iPad has stopped working (52%) and claiming the tooth fairy has been ‘delayed’ when parents have forgotten to leave money under the pillow (21%). This was all in aide of Big Little Lies… Read more…

Black Tower stands high at the National Wedding Show in Manchester

Last weekend, we made the treacherous journey all the way north, to Manchester (a magical land far, far away) to set up and man the Black Tower stand at the National Wedding Show. This was our first piece of activity for Black Tower and (naturally) it was a roaring success. The weekend saw a steady stream of more than 9,000 bride-and-groom, groom-and-groom and bride-and-bride (NOTE FROM EDITOR: we get it, you’re inclusive) to-be’s all keen to sample the Black Tower… Read more…

Ain’t notin’ but a chicken wing thang

We’re not going to lie to you, we’re completely obsessed with chicken at Fever. It’s at the detriment to our waistlines, but here within this building lie both the queen of chicken and king of chicken. The King of Chicken is a man that finds himself in establishments such as Chicken Spot, Morley’s and Chicken Cottage. However, the Queen of Chicken finds herself in the finer places. It’s a kingdom divided. On this occasion the queen has won out, so… Read more…

Launching the Jaybird X3 in the UK

Last week Jaybird’s new light-weight, wireless, sweat-proof, fall-out-of-your-ears-proof (basically life-proof) X3 launched in the UK. To put the new earphones through their paces we headed down to Third Space by Tower Bridge for THE ULTIMATE JAYBIRD CHALLENGE (said in booming voiceover voice, though to be honest it wasn’t as dramatic as we’re trying to convey). Over 40 media and influencers came to join us and were given product briefings and hands-on demos before trying the X3s in action. They hit… Read more…
