Fever Rides The Tour de Creston

Last Friday saw the first Tour de Creston bike ride starting at the EMO and TRA offices in Bristol, and finishing off at NBG’s soon-to-be new home at Creston House in London. Stopping off in Winchester and Richmond, the home of other agencies under the Creston flag, the ride took place to celebrate our parent companies new offices in Soho and to visit others on the way down.

Over 40 super fit cyclists took part with clenched teeth as they completed over 150 miles in three days up hills and through beautiful country roads. Taking part in this gruelling ride was Nelson Bostock’s Nick Clark who kept up the pace as the group cycled past Stonehenge and through the lovely Winchester countryside taking in breath-taking views and managing to miss a deer or two. The cyclists also managed to raise over £1500 for Multiple Sclerosis Trust, a great charity that’s aim is to help MS suffers live life to the full and support essential research.

Supporting the determined cyclists was Fever’s very own Pria who was in a rather comfortable Jaguar driving up and down with essential supplies of gels and fluids to keep the team going and even managed to re-direct lost cyclists and fix a puncture or three.

It was an exhausting weekend with a few tears and even more bruises but all the cyclists managed to find their destination in Soho where a well-deserved BBQ was laid out on the roof terrace.

Well done to everyone who took part and hopefully this is the first of many to come!
