This Week We Have Been . . .

Dancing up a storm despite the torrential rain – it didn’t stop two Feverites donning their raving shoes (wellies) and heading down to South West Four – Clapham’s premiere electronic music festival. The biggest names in the world of house, dub step and electro did not disappoint, with amazing sets from the likes of Steve Angello, Carl Cox, Chase & Status and Eric Prydz. Even Rudimental showed their familiar faces, after performing at the HTC Desire C event, warming the crowd up with their number one track ‘Feel the Love’. Bring on SW4 2013!

Debating who we’d want to see at a school reunion! As part of our work on the DVD release of American Pie Reunion, we’ve been working on launching the UK’s first ever National Reunion week on September 10th… cue lots of debate in the office as to whether we’d go to a reunion or not. Jury is still out at Fever Towers but if you fancy it, we are running a competition to have your reunion party paid for and hosted by Jason Biggs.

Analysing the Paralympics. In anticipation of the lucky Feverites heading down to the athletics next week, our digital geniuses Things With Wings analysed how Twitter reacted to the Opening Ceremony. Unsurprisingly, the Royals featured highly – mainly due to the lack of a certain Prince – not to mention the Queen’s slightly more sedate entrance. Tweets also poured in thick and fast highlighting the differences between BBC and Channel 4 coverage – in particular the presence of those C4 adverts. Overall, good luck wishes for the athletes and praise for the design of the ceremony also kept people talking. Stephen Hawking told us to ‘be curious’ – we’re curious as to what we’ll do when it’s all over!

Desperately wanting to try Bubbledogs, the new London restaurant sensation serving champagne and hot dogs, if there was ever a more perfect combination!

Eating the best noodles we have ever tasted at Dean Street Japanese Tonkotsu – seriously recommend the Tokyo Spicy. The pulled pork and boiled egg combo was to die for!
