This Week We Have Been . . .

…enjoying a night at the ballet. Last night we ventured to the Coliseum for the UK debut of Le Corsaire – a tale of pirates, sultans and their harem of ‘slave girls’. The costumes and set were mesmerising and as for the dancing – how do they do it?!

Bone Daddies

…mixing our ramen with rock and roll at London’s hip Bone Daddies. Much needed on a cold and wet evening. Our tip: turn up at 9pm to miss early diner queues.

House of Fools

…ecstatic to see Vic & Bob back to their silliest best in the sitcom House of Fools. Episodes are more like an extended sketch from Shooting Stars than Catterick, but the gags come just as fast. And if that wasn’t good enough, Matt Berry and Dan Renton Skinner are in it too!

The House I Live In

…finding out about the history of US drug laws with The House I Live In, a documentary about America’s ‘war on drugs’. What starts out as a personal exploration into his family history, filmmaker Eugene Jarecki soon uncovers unnerving truths about the prison system, racial oppression, and political gain. A must see!

pizza

…breaking our healthy resolutions and eating Fliss’ height in pizza.
