This Week We Have Been . . .

boogying along to Jessie Ware under the stars. The open air concert was part of the Summer Series at Somerset House – amazing location! Jessie got the sophisticated crowd dancing ‘two step’ to her hits from critically acclaimed album ‘Devotion’.

…seeing ex-SATC star and general superstar Kim Cattrall in Tennessee Williams’ Sweet Bird of Youth at the Old Vic. Set in 50s Florida under the backdrop of racial tensions, the play charts the rise and fall of fading Hollywood leading lady Alexandra de Lago (Cattrall) and her much younger ‘associate’ Chance Wayne. It’s an intense production by director Marianne Elliott – the tension and drama unfold into a violent and heady finale. Great viewing, and Kim Cattrall is 53 people. Wow.

…basking in the Turkish sunshine… Although it wasn’t necessary to board a four hour flight for sunshine this week, we went on our summer holidays to the small town of Kusadasi online blackjack cash in Turkey. With ten pools to choose from, Leffe beer on unlimited tap and daily ice creams at 3pm, staying at the Kusadasi Golf and Spa Resort was pure bliss. We did venture out of the complex on one day to go on a boat trip to explore the sparkling Agean sea and beaches, which were beautiful.

…checking out the venue showcase of Chinawhite’s new partnership, Libertine Club. Last night some of the Fever gang headed over to enjoy delicious whisky popping candy lollipops, crab canapés and upside down bellinis whilst getting a guided preview of the venue.

…enjoying three days of sun, cider and perfect pop music at the Yahoo Wireless festival. Highlights included various Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake performances, as well as Jessie Ware, Frank Ocean and a surprise guest-appearance from Rihanna. Needless to say there were a few sore heads and tanned faces by Monday morning…
