This Week We Have Been. . .

Brunching at Bunga Bunga, when a handful of Feverites started the weekend in Battersea last Saturday at the Bunga Bunga brunch. We enjoyed the simple and authentic Italian cuisine including antipasti, salads and metro pizzas and not to mention the (unlimited) Bellinis. We danced the afternoon away, whilst enjoying the delights of some classic tunes and karaoke favourites – what a perfect way to start the weekend!

Checking out what all the fuss is about at Soho hot spot Ceviche. We’re not sure if it’s the divine cocktails, the fresh Peruvian food or maybe the chilled, laid back style but this place is all it is hyped up to be. Get a booking fast. We say miss the Cancha (crunchy corn) starter and go straight for the Alianza Lima.

Feeling a touch of the green-eyed monster, after reading new blog Rich Kids of Instagram and seeing the charmed lives of a privileged few… anyone for a glass of champagne?

And of course, we can’t forget Olympic Fever, which hit a high yesterday. The team joined the crowds on Bayswater Road to cheer on the torch with Blair, Lauren and Hannah convincing one torch bearer to hand over the torch for a few moments! A few of us will be heading to the Olympic Park over the next few weeks so watch this space.

And finally… for those of you haven’t managed to get your hands on tickets to the Olympics, fear not… The Book Club has taken over the disused car park opposite the bar on Leonard St and transformed it into a super duper Olympic Playground and everyone is invited! The sporting pop-up dubbed ‘The Book Club Base Camp’ will stick around for the duration of the games and will boast alternative games of basketball, crocket and ping pong as well as giant screens highlighting action from the Olympic Park. To top it all off, they will be serving up British grub from Street Kitchen and Olympic sport themed cocktails – the firm Fever favourite being ‘End it like Beckham’ cocktail concoction! The Book Club Basecamp runs from this evening (July 27) until August 12 from 10am to 10pm daily and entry is free. Gets a gold medal from us!
