NOW TV’s Box Set Bingo – Summer Showdown!
Last week saw the return of the ultimate media mixer as we hosted NOW TV’s Box Set Bingo – Summer Showdown! Our overall aim with this hotly anticipated, interactive media event was to showcase the amazing content available on the NOW TV service in an exciting way, and with over 40 media including Mail On Sunday, LADBible, Hello! Magazine, Radio Times and Daily Star in attendance, it’s safe to say the result was very much a ‘full house’!
Not only has it given us a chance to chat to some of our favourite media and get them excited about NOW TV’s content, it also gave us the opportunity to write this pun filled blog post, so everyone’s a winner. For the second year in a row, we put media through their paces with four nail-biting rounds of NOW TV-themed bingo, covering everything from cult TV shows to iconic sporting moments.
Hosted by the hilarious and totally ‘fetch’ compère Matt Edmondson who truly was ‘The Greatest Showman’, keeping everyone entertained with his famous quick wit and comic timing through game rounds including classic bingo through to theme-tunes, a throwback round and finally the journalist favourite, ‘Who said it?’. Competition was fierce with players competing for prizes ‘Only Fools’ would turn down, from Mean Girls pencils to a Pam Shipman mug.
Held at East London’s coolest roof top bar, Roof East, ‘Billions’ of selfies were taken by attending media with our life-size cut outs of Kylie Jenner, James Cordon and Lewis Hamilton in our NOW TV themed photo booth not to mention the ‘Delicious’ food and of course bespoke NOW TV themed cocktails – Big Little Ly(chee) and Red Wedding Spiked Punch… get it?
With hugely positive responses from media, who knows, we might be back for a third time next year…
