Kicking off the World Cup PlayStation Style

The Fever team has been travelling up and down the country across the last few weekends to celebrate PlayStation® being the official console of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™. In the run up to the tournament which kicked off yesterday, pop-up ‘Customisation Stations’ were launched across the UK, giving gamers the chance to get their controllers personalised with their favourite team colours by a squad of top graffiti artists.

The events, which took place in Birmingham, Manchester, and London, also gave gamers the opportunity to put their virtual footie skills to the test, with a series of FIFA challenges giving them the chance to win a personalised DualShock®4.

The activity certainly scored big on the coverage front ahead of the events, with great pieces secured with the likes of the Metro, Daily Star, Digital Spy, Pocket-Lint, Match of the Day and Shortlist. Overall the campaign was a great success – fingers crossed we’ll be saying the same about the England boys tomorrow!
