EE Team Celebrates A Year Of 4GEE!
Last Wednesday, mobile network EE celebrated its first birthday. What better way to mark the occasion than with a media party at Paramount, on the 31st floor of Centre Point. The iconic venue offers impressive views of the London skyline, the city where the UK’s first 4G network was launched back in October 2012.
Over 50 media attended alongside some of the key people from EE who had a hand in the success of the first year. As Director of PR & Corporate Comms, Mat Sears toasted EE’s impressive achievements in a year, it only really began to sink in how far the network has come in such a short space of time. 131 towns and cities are now covered by EE’s superfast 4G network (60% of the population). EE’s is certainly proud to boast one of the quickest 4G roll outs…in the world! That certainly warranted another glass of champagne.
After the cake was cut, the champagne was toasted and the crowd descended onto the dance floor with some questionable dance moves on show late into the night.
