  • Account Director

    Fever is an award-winning brand and communications agency based in the heart of Soho, London, specialising in consumer lifestyle public relations, influencer relations and social content production. We create socially contagious ideas that build the reputations of some of the most famous brands in the world. Our portfolio includes UK and Global work for PlayStation, the Warner Brothers Harry Potter Studio Tour, Sky, Universal, Ocean Beach Club Ibiza, Canon, Cow and Gate, NOW TV and Logitech.     What’s the opportunity?
    We’re looking for an amazing freelance Account Director to join us, working our portfolio of consumer, consumer tech and entertainment campaigns on a freelance basis

    For the Flower Council of Holland, we’re charged with promoting flowers and houseplants across the UK, covering PR activity, social media and online web content for two distinct brands – and We’re looking for an Account Director who can manage a large spring focused event – set to take place at the end of March or the first week of April – with support from the permanent Account Manager and team. The event is a media and influencer event with elements of direct to consumer. As such the right candidate will need strong experience in event management – from logistics through to on the ground management, and will be responsible for ensuring the event is planned, prepped and executed to brief. As well as event management, the right candidate will need a good knowledge of UK lifestyle and national media needs, as well as influencers and bloggers requirements, and have an eye for detail.

    For Logitech we handle all UK PR and social media for the Logitech brand, as well as sub brands and acquired companies Logitech G, Ultimate Ears and Jaybird. We’re looking specifically for support around the launch of a new Ultimate Ears speaker. The right candidate will be capable of supporting the permanent Associate Director in manging the team from embargoed product briefings and media sell-in on launch day through to a post-launch event. Experience with managing a product press office is vital – with technology specific brands advantageous – and event management experience is key to the role.

    PlayStation Europe:
    For PlayStation Europe we work with the central SIEE team to manage PR comms across more than 100 markets. The works includes creating campaigns and toolkits to support key launches – both hardware and software – as well as strategy and counsel around issues and plans and reporting / social analytics around announcements, issues and key industry events. The right candidate will be fully competent in managing a large team, reviewing work and ensuring all deadlines are met or exceeded. The candidate may be client facing, so should have strong abilities in client management and counsel. Key projects likely to be live include 2x upcoming software launches, ongoing plans for PlayStation VR and a brand brief in its early stages.

    For this role, we need someone who loves entertainment and consumer brands. They’ll be plugged into pop culture, alongside being all over Instagram, Snapchat and will know their Real from their Reddit. They’ll also be driven to get results.

    You will have experience working with entertainment/consumer/consumer-tech brands, with a good knowledge of media and ideally a full contact book.

    Most importantly, you’ll be ambitious, want to deliver award-winning work and want to have fun when you come into the office every day.
